The named mechanism behind VC Deal Flow Signal. Five deterministic steps: (1) pull 14-day commit volume per organization from the public GitHub REST API with the bot filter applied, (2) compute the percentage delta against the prior 14-day window, (3) require two-period confirmation before a breakout becomes actionable, (4) score contributor concentration with the Gini coefficient, (5) classify the breakout into one of four signal types (Hiring Burst, Infrastructure Buildout, Deploy Spike, Framework Migration).
